Fernando Medina is a professional MMA fighter and dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor whose martial arts journey began at age 14 after moving from Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, to the United States. What started as his first introduction to combat sports quickly evolved into a lifelong passion built on relentless work ethic, discipline, and constant technical growth.
A decorated competitor on the mats, Fernando is a BJJ purple belt and a multi-time champion across major competitive circuits like Jiu Jitsu World League and NAGA. His tournament record includes capturing Double Gold at the 2022 World League in the Blue Belt division, alongside top podium placements across both Gi and No-Gi divisions at NAGA in 2023 and 2025.
As an active professional fighter, Fernando brings real-world ring and mat experience directly to his coaching. Whether guiding beginners through foundational mechanics or sharpening the skill sets of advanced students, he is dedicated to creating an encouraging, high-energy environment that builds strong technical fundamentals, resilience, and confidence.

Absolutely! Parents are welcome to watch classes. We want you to stay connected to your child’s martial arts progress.
What age groups do you accept for your programs?
We offer classes for children, teens, and adults, starting as young as 3.5 years old.
How do you ensure the safety of the students?
Student safety is one of our top priorities. All instructors have undergone background checks and are CPR certified. Our coaching team is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive training environment for every student.
